    • Organizational Structure of IT: Data were collected to provide information to a campus strategic planning initiative to determine the best organizational structure for IT at UB. Rollout of the data collection tool was on January 22, 2009 with February 9, 2009 the due date for completion. A University task force of end users, IT staff across campus, and University administrative leaders are developing a plan for the organizational structure for IT.

      • Academic and Business Needs: Campus leaders were interviewed about their academic and business needs in Summer 2008 in order to provide input to the strategic planning effort. In January 2009, the CIO presented the major themes that had emerged and received validation of preliminary strategic goals in teaching & learning, research, and academic support. See the Presentation to the Deans and VPs.
      • IT Node Directors then developed a Strategic Plan for IT for 2009-2012.
